Story

---

The Dispatcher

The NCPD dispatcher calls all subcontractors to Sage Gulch Road. Warrants are out for Rufus McBride for practising as a ripperdoc without a license. His record shows three counts of causing permanent disability, and one of helping to stage a suicide. He is hiding with the Wraiths. The city offers a reward for taking down McBride and the gang that shelters him.

Team Militech

A shard records Simon Diaz warning Rufus that Josh took a bullet in the hand, and that they are on their way. Rufus asks whether Josh runs on Arasaka or Militech hardware. Militech, Simon replies. Good, says Rufus. At least they will not run short of parts.

Orders for Patients

Another shard lists what Rufus ordered for the week. Kiroshi nose filters, premium Biodyne legs with stronger thighs, Arasaka subdermal pockets for the best smugglers, Militech muscle weaves and Biotechnica kidneys are all on the way.
