Abductor Virgins is a great boss in Elden Ring.
The Abductor Virgins are two iron torture machines that guard the Subterranean Inquisition Chamber below Volcano Manor. One swings bladed wheels and the other swings sickles on long chains. A grab from an Abductor Virgin in the manor carries the player straight to this chamber. Defeating the pair opens the way up to Rykard's domain.
Lore
Each Abductor Virgin is a tall iron figure shaped like a robed maiden. Heavy weapons are fixed to both arms. When the chest opens, serpentine tendrils reach out to pull victims inside.
The Abductor Virgins served the Volcano Manor. They were built to capture victims and carry them away for interrogation. The candlestick torture device they guard was used on nobles behind the curtain of the manor.

Attacks
- Chest grab: the virgin opens its chest and drags the target inside for huge damage. Attacking from behind keeps clear of it.
- Wheel slams: the wheel virgin rushes in with spinning bladed wheels. Dodging away from the dash avoids it.
- Sickle swings: the scythe virgin whips its sickles on long chains. Rolling through the swing closes the gap.
- Dashes: both virgins slide forward quickly to close distance. A sidestep avoids the charge.
Tactics
- Summon spirit ashes or co-op partners to split the two virgins apart.
- Kill the wheel virgin first, because it moves faster and hits harder.
- Attack from behind, where the chest grab cannot reach.
- Keep away from walls and clutter so both virgins cannot pin the player.
- Use lightning, because the virgins take extra damage and extra stance damage from it.
- Ranged users can stand on the rocky ledge in the arena, where the virgins cannot reach.
