Guardian's Swordspear is a Halberd in Elden Ring. It has the highest physical attack of any halberd in the game. It is a mid-game find.

The Guardian's Swordspear has a long handle and a broad blade sharpened from the hard wood of old trees, wielded by the guardians of the Minor Erdtrees, who are known as experts in the arts of combat. Erdtree Guardians drop it at a low rate, with good farming spots around the Minor Erdtree Church in the Altus Plateau and south of the Tombsward Catacombs in the Weeping Peninsula. It has the highest base physical damage of any halberd and a distinct moveset shared with Loretta's War Sickle and the Poleblade of the Bud, whose light attacks are upward slashes finished by a horizontal slice. Its power scales greatly with Dexterity, and a Keen infusion outperforms Quality even at high Strength and Dexterity. It suits a Dexterity character, and its quick attacks apply status well.

Guardian's Swordspear is the top Dexterity halberd, with 139 physical at +0, the highest in the class, and C Dexterity that reaches A at max upgrade on a Keen infusion. Its light attacks are upward slashes ending in a horizontal sweep, unlike the standard halberd set. Erdtree Guardians drop it, so it can be farmed rather than found once.

Skill

Spinning Slash costs 6 / 12 FP. The wielder spins the whole body to slash foes in a wide circle, and an additional input adds two more spins. Small weapons spin quickly, while greatswords, spears, halberds and other large weapons use a slower, sweeping version. The skill cannot be parried. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.
