Borealis's Mist is a Dragon Communion incantation in Elden Ring. It is picked up mid-game, in Caelid.
Borealis's Mist is a superior Dragon Communion incantation channeling Borealis the Freezing Fog, whose kind ruled the mountaintops until the Fire Giants drove them from the peak. The caster transforms into a dragon, hovering slightly while breathing an icy mist that deals magic damage and heavy frostbite buildup, and holding the cast lets it breathe again while turning to sweep new directions. It deals more damage than Dragonice with slightly longer range but a narrower spread, at the cost of a long wind up and a lot of FP for a full cast. It can be cast while jumping, and in PvP Endure helps protect the wind up from interruption. It suits Dragon Communion builds that want frostbite on groups and large targets.
Effect
Transforms the caster into a dragon that hovers and breathes freezing mist from above, building up frostbite; charging extends the breath, and it can be cast while jumping. Each cast costs 48 FP and 60 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
