Smarag's Glintstone Breath is a Dragon Communion incantation in Elden Ring. It becomes available partway through a run, in Liurnia of the Lakes.
Smarag's Glintstone Breath is a superior Dragon Communion incantation channeling Smarag, the Glintstone Dragon, a devourer of sorcerers whose body became corrupted by their glintstones over time. The caster transforms into a dragon that hovers slightly while breathing glintstone magic from above, and holding the cast lets it breathe again while turning, even when started mid-jump. It deals more damage than Glintstone Breath with slightly longer range but a narrower spread, at the cost of a long wind up and a large FP bill for a full cast. It cannot be used on horseback, and in PvP Endure helps protect the wind up from interruption. It suits Dragon Communion builds that want a strong magic breath.
Effect
Transforms the caster into Smarag to breathe glintstone magic from above; holding it lets loose a second breath. Each cast costs 36 FP and 60 stamina and takes up one memory slot. It can be charged for more power.
