The Stone of Gurranq is a Bestial incantation in Elden Ring. It becomes available in the middle of a run.
Stone of Gurranq is a superior incantation taught by Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman, who long ago was a beast so terrifyingly ferocious that his former name meant Death of the Demigods. It hurls a large boulder that bursts on impact with physical damage, and it can be chain-cast as long as FP and stamina last. The boulder has no tracking, so it is hard to land on fast enemies at range and works best at mid to close range, where its heavy poise damage shines. It automatically targets enemies near the center of the screen without lock-on, which helps against huge targets like the Elden Beast, and a hit combos straight into Lightning Spear, Wrath of Gold or Greyoll's Roar. It suits bestial and faith builds that want a hard-hitting physical projectile.
Effect
Hurls a large boulder that bursts on impact; it can be cast repeatedly. Each cast costs 15 FP and 37 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Stone of Gurranq Guide
Stone of Gurranq is the reward from Gurranq, Beast Clergyman at the Bestial Sanctum for the sixth Deathroot. He turns hostile after the fourth and has to be calmed before the trades continue.
- Collect Deathroot and travel to the Bestial Sanctum in northeastern Caelid.
- Talk to Gurranq, Beast Clergyman and hand over the Deathroot one at a time.
- After the fourth Deathroot, reload the area; Gurranq attacks.
- Wear down his health until he calms, talk to him, then reload so he returns to his spot.
- Keep handing over Deathroot; the sixth earns Stone of Gurranq.
