The Cinquedea is a Dagger in Elden Ring. It carries the highest physical attack of any dagger in the game.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Greyoll's Dragonbarrow, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Why Players Pick It

The class's hardest hit: 98 physical at +0 and 240 at max standard, both class highs, with B Strength at max standard. The catch is E Dexterity base and a 10 Str / 10 Dex requirement, it is the Strength dagger, not the Dex one.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at E, so Str is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 10 and Dex 10 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.

Notes

Short sword given to high ranking clergymen of Farum Azula. Raises potency of bestial incantations. The design celebrates a beast's five fingers, symbolic of the intelligence once granted upon their kind.

How to Get Cinquedea Guide

Location: Bestial Sanctum (exterior).
The is looted from a mummified Beastman behind the Bestial Sanctum in Greyoll's Dragonbarrow. # Descend onto roots from the north-facing cliff behind the Bestial Sanctum, located on the west side of the building. # Carefully jump from the roots onto the domes of the pillars, before carefully dropping along the pillar to the row of pit graves. # Travel down to the third row, and reach fhe platform with four chained Beastmen.
Rainbow Stones can be used to determine the safety of a fall.
Found on the same level as the Dragoncrest Shield Talisman.
