Ancient Vault - Farmer is an Ancient Vault in the north of the Springlands, close to the border with Revelwood. Emily Fray, the Farmer, sleeps here in a Cinder Vessel. The Hunter remembers where this vault was built and sends players here in the quest Growing Stronger Together. Lava jumps, spike traps and hidden panels guard the way inside. A gold chest waits at the rear of the vault.
Where to Find Ancient Vault - Farmer - Map Location
The vault stands in the north of the Springlands. The Withered Encampment sits right next to it on the west side. Wescott lies to the south-west and Willow Crush to the north. The road north through Willow Crush leads on to the bridge into Revelwood, so the vault is a good spot for a forward Flame Altar.

Quests
The Hunter gives Growing Stronger Together after Flame Altar And Base Improvements (1) and Hunter Becomes The Hunted. She believes the vault holds a survivor who can help with food and crops. The Farmer has to be woken and then placed in the base with a Summoning Staff. In the base, she crafts food and farming supplies.

Chests
The gold chest sits on the ground level at the rear of the vault. It lies across some lava ledges and behind a hidden panel. A silver chest hides behind another panel in the Farmer's chamber, high up, and needs the Grappling Hook. The second silver chest is on the upper level, outside at the southern tip. Wooden chests sit by the spike traps and on a lava parkour corner on the left side.

Hidden Chests
The vault hides its gold chest under the causeway and two silver chests behind hidden doors. One of them is only reached by grappling across from the Farmer's chamber.
Gold chest under the causeway
- Enter the vault and stop before crossing the causeway over the lava.
- Drop down and go under the causeway.
- Find the platform that juts out into the middle beneath it.
- Open the hidden door on the platform.
- Loot the gold chest behind the door.
Silver chest in the lightning corridor
- Go back to the climbing wall beside the broken floor over the lava.
- Climb down the wall.
- Look north and jump down to the platform with the grapple point.
- Double jump into the doorway beyond it.
- Follow the corridor with the lightning traps.
- Find the hidden door between the first and the second row of traps.
- Open it to reach the silver chest.
Silver chest above the Farmer's chamber
- Enter the Farmer's chamber once all three switches have opened its doors.
- Take the staircase on the left.
- Use the grapple point on the beam above to swing to the west gallery.
- Walk to the north end of the gallery.
- Open the hidden door on the left to reach the silver chest.
Lore Pages
The note "Road to the Mark of Sameth" is picked up on reaching the Withered Encampment next door. It urges the camp to hurry and join Sameth at his mine, the Mark of Sameth. He does not accept latecomers, so the writer suggests a shortcut. The writer jokes that a few vines cannot do much harm.
