Wescott is a village in the north of the Springlands, now held by Scavengers. Martha, who worked at its inn, left a diary that is still in the ruins. She wrote of the days when the trade routes were cut and the kitchen had only bones and watery soup. One night, a wild and hungry traveller refused a room and walked off into the woods. The Hunter later says that she lost her Hand Spindle near this village.
Where to Find Wescott - Map Location
Wescott lies in the north of the Springlands. The Abandoned Hunter Camp is a short way to the north. The Ancient Vault - Farmer and the Withered Encampment lie to the north-east. Ferndale is to the south.

A silver chest sits on the top floor of the more ruined big house. Turn around in the corner at the top of the stairs to find it. Wooden chests wait in the basement of the south-western building and in the attic of the north-western one. Another hides behind a cracked wall in the attic of the south-eastern building.

Lore Pages
Both pages of Martha's diary lie in the more ruined big house. In the first, a stranger orders stew with the bones left in and turns down a room. Martha watches her march north to sleep on the cold ground. In the second, Martha wakes to find two Fae Deer dragged into the village square. She is shocked at first, then counts the meals that will feed the whole village.
