The Cradle of Dusk is the lair of the boss Fell Monstrosity in the Nomad Highlands. It lies in the Shroud north of Rattlebleak. The monstrosity here is the sorcerer Ikora herself. Her experiments with Shroud spores and the Black Cauldron turned her into the beast, and calcified statues mark the trail from her town to this lair. Defeating her gives the Black Cauldron to the Alchemist and the Fell Monstrosity Head needed for the fourth upgrade of the Flame Altar.
Where to Find Cradle of Dusk - Map Location
The Cradle of Dusk lies in the Shroud west-north-west of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire. Rattlebleak is to the south. Following the calcified statues from the town leads straight here. A Shroud Root stands to the north-east, and a Night Sanctum and a Flame Shrine lie to the south-west and west.

Quests
In A Black Cauldron For The Alchemist, the Alchemist needs the cauldron to build an Alchemy Station. Emily Fray points the search to Ikora's empty shop in Rattlebleak. From there, the trail of statues leads to the Cradle of Dusk. Ikora, or what is left of her, has to be defeated, and the cauldron lies among her remains.

Enemies
The Fell Monstrosity is the boss of the Cradle of Dusk. It is immune to Shroud damage, and fire works well against it. Other Fell also roam the lair. Time inside the Shroud is limited, so the fight should start with a full Shroud timer.
