The Pearlfrost Mentor Set is an Albaneve Summits magic armor set for healers. Its strength is stronger healing and faster revives, with frost resistance on every piece. The Alchemist crafts it, and pieces also turn up in chests.

Pieces

The chest, gloves and boots raise healing power. The hat and gloves shorten the time needed to revive a fallen ally. The trousers make revived allies come back with more health. Mana on the chest and trousers and mana regeneration on the hat and boots keep the heals flowing. Frost resistance delays hypothermia in the Albaneve Summits.

How to Get Pearlfrost Mentor Set Guide

The Alchemist makes every piece. Armor recipes unlock on their own each time the Flame is upgraded, one crafting tier at a time. The recipes use Warm Padding, Silver Bars, Amethyst, Obsidian and Enshrouded Ice, with Violet Fabric and Stapelia Starflower for the hat.

Levelling and Upgrades

The Alchemist upgrades mage armor for Runes. Crafted pieces are rare quality, while chests can hold common to legendary ones. The quality sets how many upgrade perks a piece can unlock. Legendary pieces unlock the most and need Legendary Runes for the later steps. The perks here add resistance to blunt, piercing, cutting and Shroud damage, more health and mana, and extra levels in skills such as Healer, Healing Revive and Water Aura. Upgraded gear peaks at level 55, far above the Albaneve Summits tier. The healer line continues with the Waveborne Ritualist Set in the Veilwater Basin, and then with the Lifelock armor of Cinder's Cradle. Outgrown pieces salvage back into runes.

Lore

The Pearlfrost Mentor descriptions describe a healer who searches the snow for those in need. When wounded warriors see the hat rise over the horizon, they know salvation is near. Then they notice the hat is a little cone-shaped, though they usually keep quiet about it. The blue coat has a gold casing over the heart with a faceted gem like a cornflower blue eye, searching the battlefield for souls in need. The padded gloves let the wearer scale any cliff to reach snowed-in souls. The knee-high boots protect the shins from deep snow.

Notes

Balthazar the Alchemist must be rescued before the Pearlfrost Mentor Set can be crafted.
The Pearlfrost Mentor Set raises Frost Resistance, which delays hypothermia in the Albaneve Summits.
