The Rogue Set is a Kindlewastes warrior armor set for one-handed fighters who rely on merciless strikes and backstabs. Its strength is the helmet's large boost to merciless attack damage. The Blacksmith crafts it, and pieces also turn up in chests.

Pieces

The helmet adds merciless attack damage, the finishing blow on a stunned enemy, plus backstab damage for hits from behind. The gloves add one-handed melee damage and extra damage against melee enemies. The chest adds health and stamina. The trousers and boots speed up stamina regeneration.

How to Get Rogue Set Guide

The Blacksmith makes every piece. Armor recipes unlock on their own each time the Flame is upgraded, one crafting tier at a time. The recipes use Iron Bars, Lapislazuli, Fabric and Leather, with Fossilized Bone, Scales and Mist of a Fell Sicklescythe.

Levelling and Upgrades

The Blacksmith upgrades warrior armor for Runes. Crafted pieces are rare quality, while chests can hold common to legendary ones. The quality sets how many upgrade perks a piece can unlock. Legendary pieces unlock the most and need Legendary Runes for the later steps. The perks here add resistance to blunt, piercing, cutting and Shroud damage, more health and stamina, and extra levels in skills such as Finesse, Thrust and Athlete. Upgraded gear peaks at level 55, far above the Kindlewastes tier. The one-handed line continues with the Wolf's Fang Set in the Albaneve Summits. Outgrown pieces salvage back into runes.

Lore

The Rogue descriptions describe a sly fighter who lives on the edge of danger. The sturdy helmet protects the wearer from slashes, cuts and scars. The gloves protect the fingers from traps and cuts, and the description calls them a rogue's best friend. The chest piece is well balanced and lets the wearer regain energy faster. Metal plates on the trousers guard against jagged or poisoned arrows. Adventurers in the boots are not to be messed with.

Tips

The Rogue Set is made for one-handed fighters who rely on merciless strikes and backstabs. Merciless strikes hit enemies whose guard has been broken by a parry or by blocked hits. Backstabs hit enemies from behind, often before they react. Fighters with two-handed weapons get more from the Soldier Set of the same tier. The one-handed line continues with the Wolf's Fang Set in the Albaneve Summits.
