The Haunted Sun Temple is an Ancient temple in the Kindlewastes, standing in the abandoned settlement of Brittlebush. The Shroud flooded its halls, and an evil spirit has haunted them ever since. That spirit is a Fell Sicklescythe, a boss of the Kindlewastes. The Carpenter's aunt Elin once fled the temple and spread word of its curse. Defeating the Sicklescythe gives its head, the key ingredient for the fifth upgrade of the Flame Altar.
Where to Find Haunted Sun Temple - Map Location
The temple lies in Brittlebush, just past the border from the Nomad Highlands. Its entrance is easy to spot when gliding into Brittlebush from the south. The Haunted Sun Temple Entrance lies just to the south, and "Far Away Fray" Tavern is a short way beyond it. Ternion Mine lies to the north-west.

Quests
Sun Temple Stories comes from the Carpenter once the Flame Altar has reached its fifth level. He has heard that his aunt Elin was cursed in a Kindlewastes Sun Temple, but he is not sure the story is true. The Farmer, Emily Fray, grew up in the Kindlewastes and confirms that the temple in Brittlebush is haunted. The spirit has to be cast out, and the reward is the Fell Sicklescythe Head.

Enemies
The Fell Sicklescythe is the boss of the temple. Besides its head, it drops Mist of a Fell Sicklescythe, a Shroud Nexus and Legendary Runes. Other Fell fill the halls on the way down. The temple lies in the Shroud, so the fight should start with a full Shroud timer.
