Raven's Keep is an old prison in the southern Nomad Highlands. Its warden's log tells of constant revolts, stirred up by a new inmate named Lupa. As the Shroud crept closer, the guards fled and left the prisoners behind bars. Lupa tore open a hollow wall of her cell, found a cave behind it and fought her way out past a Vukah clan. The escaped inmates later set Surat's Rest on fire and built Lupa's Lair. Today Scavengers hold the empty prison, and Lupa's own axe still lies inside.

Where to Find Raven's Keep - Map Location

Raven's Keep lies in the southern Nomad Highlands, north-west of the Abandoned Watchtower and the Southern Caravan Camp. A Flame Shrine stands to the north-east and another to the west. A Gem Forge and a Shroud Lair lie to the south. The Rat Infested Outpost is a short way north-east.

Quests

In In Need Of A Tanning Station, the Carpenter tells of a fearsome hunter from the Highlands, as big as a mountain and able to tame animals. She was sent to Raven's Keep after a gruesome fight. The keep turns out to be empty, because its inmates broke out through hordes of Vukah, led by their new matron. The trail then moves on to Lupa's Lair, where the Tanning Station waits.

Unique Loot

Lupa's Scalper is a one-handed axe and a lore weapon. The words "Shadow Over Umber Hollow -- Lupa" are etched on its side. It lies on a corpse inside the keep. After it is found, it can also be crafted.

Chests

A gold chest stands inside the keep. One silver chest waits on the first floor of the south-west tower, before the entrance to the dungeon. The other silver chest lies in the dungeon behind the second locked door. A switch opens these doors. A silver chest inside the keep also holds the Fancy Stone Block for building.

Hidden Chests

The keep's gold chest lies at the end of a hidden tunnel, which two routes reach. A silver chest waits in the dungeon behind doors that a switch opens.

Gold chest through the keep

Enter the keep through the main entrance in the south-east.
Find the prison cells, where one cell holds a silver chest.
Go upstairs to the cell directly opposite that chest, with a shimmering red corpse inside.
Take the tunnel behind the corpse, on the left.
Follow it to the gold chest.

Gold chest from the north-east

Approach the keep from the north-east, past the large slippery mud slide.
Climb the scaffolding with the grapple hooks and climbing walls on the right.
Enter the cave at the top.
Look directly to the right and below to find the gold chest.

Silver chest in the dungeon

Go down into the dungeon of the keep.
Use the switch to open the locked doors.
Go through the second locked door to the silver chest.

Lore Pages

"Raven's Keep Log" hangs on the walls of a room outside the keep, where the warden Cassandra Wynn records that Lupa spat in the Quarter Master's face. "Where Are Her Dogs" sits on a signpost right of the bonfire inside the front gates. In it, a guard writes that Lupa's confiscated hounds vanished one cold night, and their tracks led to a nearby tower. "I Will Reach You" lies next to a bed and is Kendal's promise to free her sister. "No Better Than Us!" lies on a chair in the big room, and "Glory To Matron Lupa" waits at the end of the keep with the story of the breakout.
