The Warlock Set is a Kindlewastes magic armor set for wand casters. Its strength is high critical damage on the helmet and wand damage on the gloves and shirt, with a sturdy health pool. The Alchemist crafts it, and pieces also turn up in chests.

Pieces

The helmet adds a small critical chance and a large boost to critical damage. The gloves raise wand damage and the damage against magical enemies. The shirt adds a big block of health and more wand damage. The pants add health and mana regeneration, and the boots speed up health regeneration.

Levelling and Upgrades

The Alchemist upgrades mage armor for Runes. Crafted pieces are rare quality, while chests can hold common to legendary ones. The quality sets how many upgrade perks a piece can unlock. Legendary pieces unlock the most and need Legendary Runes for the later steps. The perks here add resistance to blunt, piercing, cutting and Shroud damage, more health and mana regeneration, and extra levels in skills such as Wand Mastery, Radiant Aura and Life Essences. Upgraded gear peaks at level 55, far above the Kindlewastes tier. The wand line continues with the Hailcaster Set in the Albaneve Summits. Outgrown pieces salvage back into runes.

Lore

The Warlock descriptions recall the battle mages of the past. The shirt is a traditional garment once worn by esteemed battle mages, though its rituals are now a faint memory at best. The pants were the centrepiece of ceremonial warlock clothing. The helmet protects the skull while riding into battle. The gloves deal both spells and smiting blows with ease. The traditional boots let the wearer stampede over enemy remains.

Tips

The Warlock Set is made for wand casters, since its gloves and shirt raise wand damage. The helmet adds a large boost to critical damage, so anything that raises critical chance pairs well with it. Staff users get more from the Archmage Set of the same tier. The shirt's big health pool lets a wand caster survive closer fights. The wand line continues with the Hailcaster Set in the Albaneve Summits.
