The Adze is a short curved blade on a wooden stand. It sits under Crafting Stations in the build menu, but it is really an extension for the Workbench rather than a station of its own. Ten Finewood and three Bronze take the bench to level four, and that lets you upgrade a weapon or a piece of armour one step further.

How to Build It

It costs 10x Finewood and 3x Bronze. Unlike most bench extensions, you can only place it with a Forge in range, and you need a Forge nearby again if you ever want to take it back down with the Hammer. Place it within about two metres of the Workbench it is meant to improve, or it counts for nothing. Keep both under the same roof too, because the bench and everything attached to it takes damage from rain.
