Ember Charge is the bomb that unlocks the ore of the Deep North. It bursts for 140 blunt, 100 chop and 50 pickaxe across three metres, enough to break a petrified Gammeltroll for its Petrified Tissue. One craft makes ten, from two Seal Pelts and one Ember.
How to Craft
You craft it at a level 1 Workbench from:
- 2x Seal Pelt: dropped by Seals on the Deep North coast.
- 1x Embers: picked from the ember spirits that an Eternal Pyre draws in.
| Name | Image | Biome | Crafting Station | Spawn ID |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seal Pelt | Deep North | - | spawn SealHide

| Embers | Deep North | - | spawn FaderEmber

When to Use It
This is end game gear. You need to kill Fader before you can progress through the Deep North.
Properties
You throw it like any bomb, and it bursts across three metres for 140 blunt, 100 chop and 50 pickaxe. A direct hit adds a single point of chop and pickaxe. What really matters is its tool tier, which is high enough to break petrified Gammeltrolls. That makes it your way to the Petrified Tissue that smelts into Bloodgold.
A whole statue has 52 segments and drops about 43 tissue.
A level 1 Workbench makes ten at a time from two Seal Pelts and one Ember. Embers come only from an Eternal Pyre, and you can only build one once Fader is dead.
Each batch of 10 costs 2 Seal Pelts and 1 Embers.
Notes
- It breaks any rock or tree within its radius, so it also works as a fast way to mine or clear ground.
