Quenching is the whole point of the Forge Cooler. It is a single-tile Crafting Stations extension made from Finewood and Copper that raises a Forge another level. It is one of the easiest forge upgrades to afford, since both materials come from the Black Forest rather than anywhere deeper.
How to Build It
It costs 25 finewood and 10 copper. Place it within a Workbench's range and inside the forge's radius, or the forge will not count it. It takes up one tile, so it fits into the corner of a crowded smithy where the larger extensions will not. Finewood rots in the open and the forge already needs cover, so a roof over the whole smithy solves both problems at once.
| Material | Image | Amount | Found In | Comes From |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Finewood | 25x | Meadows | Birch, Oak | |
| Copper | 10x | Black Forest | Smelter, Dvergr metal wall |
