The Jack-O-Turnip is the Lighting menu's seasonal oddity, carved from a crop instead of cut from timber. Four turnips and a little resin make a grinning lantern that burns quietly and, unlike most open fires, does not scare the boars in your pen.

How to Build It

Build it from four Turnips and two Resin with a Workbench nearby. The recipe only shows up once you have picked a turnip of your own. It is a seasonal piece: the hammer offers it around Halloween, and the entry disappears again afterwards. Resin keeps it lit and rain does it no harm, which makes it one of the few lights you can leave standing out in the garden.
