A Morgen Heart is cut out of a morgen, the burrowing horror that waits in the ruins and holes of the Ashlands. It is dry, heavy and far too still to have ever beaten.

How to Get It

---

You have to kill a morgen for it. The dependable ones are the starred sleepers dug into Ashlands ruins or lurking underground in a putrid hole; the ones wandering open ground are rare, day or night. Axe and pickaxe tier do not matter, because a morgen is immune to chop and pickaxe damage and takes only half damage from blunt, slash and pierce. Lightning is the quickest answer. Parrying is safer than blocking, since a starred morgen will punch through a block and kill an armoured player outright. Not every kill drops a heart.
