A Stonecutter presses ordinary Stone into a Sharpening Stone, a dressed whetstone wheel waiting for a frame to spin in. It belongs to the Swamp tier, because the Stonecutter needs iron from there.
How to Get It
You craft it at a Stonecutter, so you need to build one first, and that takes iron from the Swamp along with wood and stone. The stone itself needs no particular tool: loose rock lies on any shoreline, and any pickaxe breaks the rest. A few Sharpening Stones also turn up in the chests of Fuling Villages, outposts and ruins on the Plains, but rarely enough that crafting is the dependable route.
