The Tetra is blind and colourless from a life that never sees daylight. It swims in the still pools at the bottom of the frost caves bored into the Mountain.
How to Get It
You need a Fishing Rod and Cold Fishing Bait. The bait is made at a Food Preparation Table from twenty Fishing Bait and a Fenring trophy, so a Fenring has to die before you can catch a Tetra. The rod and the plain bait both come from Haldor. Find a Frost Cave in the Mountain, work down to the rare flooded chambers at the bottom and cast there. Ordinary bait will not raise them. Dress warmly, because the cave is as cold as the peak above it.
Quality
Fish do not carry stars. Instead, each fish has a quality from 1 to 5, rolled when it spawns. In most waters there is a 20% chance to step up a level, and in the Ashlands and Deep North 15%. A higher quality fish is visibly larger, weighs more, and gives more Raw Fish when you clean it at a Food Preparation Table.
