The Drowned Dead are Necrophages and a more dangerous kind of Drowner. They live along the banks of ponds, lakes and rivers.
Lore
A fisherman, Yanneck of Blaviken, gave simple advice: keep quiet at the water's edge, both to spare the fish and to avoid drowners. Like their cousins, the Drowned Dead look like corpses pulled from the bottom of a pond. Their skin is a sickly blue or green. Slime and sludge ooze from every pore, and they reek of rot.
That look is why people often believe drowners rise from those who drowned in shallow water. The tales name lost travelers who fell into bogs and children who swam too far from shore.
Behaviour
The Drowned Dead live in rotting filth, so they resist poison. They come out at night and hunt in groups alongside ordinary drowners.
Weaknesses
Coat the silver sword with Necrophage Oil. Fire hurts the Drowned Dead badly, so Igni is the Sign to use. Axii has no effect on them.
They rarely come alone. Expect a pack of drowners around each one, and avoid getting surrounded.
