History
In the main quest The Man from Cintra, a thief from Cintra dies while fleeing with a stolen jewel. He leaves behind a clue that points to Dun Tynne Castle. Duchess Anna Henrietta comes to suspect that her sister Syanna is there. She orders Captain Damien de la Tour and the ducal guard to help Geralt take the castle.
Inside the walls, Geralt defeats Roderick and his men. Syanna had talked the old knight into opening his castle to a gang of bandits. Roderick knew Syanna well, yet he had heard nothing of her kidnapping. Geralt can then choose to help the wounded knight.
Two unexpected allies join the assault: the higher vampires Regis and Dettlaff. Together they cut through the castle's defenders and reach the keep. There Syanna waits. She is also Rhena, the missing woman Dettlaff loves. Dettlaff learns that she sent him the names of his victims. He orders her to meet him at Tesham Mutna in three days.
