Grandmaster Legendary Griffin Armor is the NG+ Legendary variant of the Grandmaster Griffin Armor, medium witcher chest armor from Blood and Wine. It gives 245 armor at level 41, with +34% sign intensity. It is a New Game Plus chest from Toussaint, needing level 40 plus the starting level.
It also gives +26% piercing, +20% bludgeoning, +33% slashing and +32% monster resistance. The regular armor gives 240 armor and +22% sign intensity. The sign intensity suits a signs build.
Set Bonus
The Griffin set is medium armor with five tiers. 3 pieces: after a sign cast in standard mode with stamina, the next sign cast within 3 seconds costs no stamina. 6 pieces: Yrden traps are 40% larger, and inside the trap stamina regeneration rises by 5/s, sign intensity by 100% and damage taken drops by 20%.
How to Get Grandmaster Legendary Griffin Armor
- In NG+, play Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Griffin Gear in Toussaint.
- Take the portal under Mont Crane Castle to Moreau's hidden workshop.
- Find the diagram in the room that also holds the silver sword and trousers diagrams.
- A grandmaster armorer crafts it. The quest Master Master Master Master! in Beauclair unlocks this craftsman.
Grandmaster Legendary Griffin Armor Map Location and Quest Guide
The Grandmaster Legendary Griffin Armor diagram lies in Jerome Moreau's prison, a hidden cave reached through a portal under Mont Crane Castle in Toussaint. The pin marks that room, which also holds the trousers and silver sword diagrams. It is the New Game + counterpart of the Grandmaster Griffin Armor diagram and lies at the same spot.
- Speak to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Beauclair, and ask about the Griffin gear to start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Griffin Gear.
- Go to the Fort Ussar Ruins. Kill the slyzard and its mother that guard the area.
- Head to the stairs on the east side of the ruins.
- Loot the crate under the stairs and read Captain Augustus Fierabras' Report. It points to Mont Crane Castle.
- Go to Mont Crane Castle, a hanse base full of bandits. Kill the fire runner before he lights the signal fire and clear the courtyard.
- Use the Eye of Nehaleni on the marked wall to dispel the illusion and enter Moreau's quarters.
- Take the Power Crystal from the workshop table. Use Witcher Senses to find the button that moves the stone wall.
- Loot the chest before the portal for Moreau's Journal. Place the Power Crystal and power it with Aard.
- Step through the portal and defeat the golem.
- Search the small box on the shelf near the stove for the Grandmaster Legendary Griffin Armor diagram.
