The Grandmaster Wolven Steel Sword is the final upgrade of the Wolven Steel Sword. It is witcher gear from Blood and Wine. It deals 335-409 damage at level 40 and gives +11% each to sign intensity, adrenaline gain, crit chance and bleed chance. Each bonus rises to 12% in NG+. Its diagram lies under the Termes Palace Ruins in Toussaint. It is a late-game steel sword.
That even spread of bonuses makes it a sword for a bleeding hybrid build. The Wolven set bonuses also feed on bleeds and adrenaline. It gives +5% XP from humans and nonhumans and has 3 rune slots.
Set Bonus
The Wolven set is medium armor with 5 tiers: basic, enhanced, superior, mastercrafted and grandmaster.
- 3 pieces: each Bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece.
- 6 pieces: each Adrenaline Point raises how many Bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.
How to Get Grandmaster Wolven Steel Sword
- During Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear, open the barrier under the Termes Palace Ruins with a purple ruby.
- Take Diagram: Grandmaster Wolven Steel Sword from the dead witcher's remains.
- Unlock a grandmaster blacksmith through Master Master Master Master! in Beauclair, and have it crafted from the mastercrafted Wolven Steel Sword.
Grandmaster Wolven Steel Sword Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks the Termes Palace Ruins in Toussaint. The Grandmaster Wolven Steel Sword diagram lies on a dead witcher's remains in the chambers under the ruins, with the silver sword and gauntlets diagrams. A barrier opened with a purple ruby guards the way, and wraiths and barghests wait behind it.
- Speak to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Toussaint, and ask about the Wolven gear to start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear.
- Go to the archeologists' camp next to the Termes Palace Ruins signpost.
- Search the camp with Witcher Senses and read Isabelle Duchamp's journal from the box by the campfire.
- Find the entrance to the chambers under the ruins. A purple barrier blocks it.
- Pick up the purple ruby nearby and use it on the barrier.
- Head down and kill the wraiths, barghests and giant centipedes inside.
- Break the sealed walls with Aard on the way deeper.
- Loot the witcher's remains in the dead-end room for the steel sword diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram becomes Grandmaster Legendary Wolven Steel Sword. It needs level 40 plus the starting level and has +15% in each of the four bonuses.
