A Shrine Defiled is an Agent Saboteur gig from Wakako Okada in North Oak, Westbrook, the last of her list. Taki Kazo, a Tyger Claws boss, holds secret meetings in the main hall of the Shinto shrine at Milagro Terrace, and thinks he can rule Japantown without Wakako. She wants a wiretap placed in the holiest part of the shrine, without a sound.
Story
The Tiger and the Mountain
Wakako opens the journal with a proverb: a person should not stray from the road, and the tiger should not leave his mountain steppes, or misfortune will find them both.
Tyger Claws boss Taki Kazo thinks he is clever. He thinks Wakako will not learn about his agreement at the Shinto shrine at Milagro Terrace. He thinks she does not know he uses the shrine's honden, its main hall, for secret meetings. He thinks he can rule Japantown without her. He is wrong. She gives V a wiretap to place in the most sacred part of the shrine. V is to make no noise, and not disappoint her.
The Shrine
A wall surrounds the shrine grounds, with trees close by. Inside, two guards walk the ground and one watches from the roof of the small building with the computer.
