Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy is a Thievery gig from Regina Jones in Kabuki, Watson, after Welcome to America, Comrade. Mikhail Akulov, a top Soviet fixer, has come to Night City, and his datashard is said to hold valuable intel on talks between the Soviets and the Japanese. He stays in a heavily guarded penthouse at Hotel Raito on Adams Street. Regina's client wants the shard, and Regina pays extra for a job with no trace.

Story

Loose Lips

Regina explains in the journal. Some loose lipped Arasaka suits, hopping from bar to bar, let slip word of a big deal with the Soviets. It seems it was not just bragging to rival corpos. The Mikhail Akulov, the one from the car with the tracker, arrived in the city a while ago, a top class Soviet fixer. Regina's client wants his datashard, which supposedly holds very valuable intel on talks with the Japanese. Of course, he will be heavily protected. And she will pay extra if V gets in and out without a trace.

Hotel Raito

The receptionist controls access to the lift. Akulov's guards chat in the lobby, and two more patrol inside the penthouse. The datashard sits on a table by the TV stand.
