The Ash of War: Aspects of the Crucible: Wings is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Sacred affinity and the Aspects of the Crucible: Wings skill. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

Aspects of the Crucible: Wings sprouts a pair of golden wings, launches the wielder into the air and dives onto the target with a powerful thrust. On a twinblade the dive becomes a spinning charge of eight consecutive hits instead of a single stab. Heavy hyper armor covers most of the flight, and the jump lets the wielder pass over ground shockwaves. It suits Strength and Dexterity builds that want a long-reaching gap closer with high stance damage.

Skill

The dive is best used as a punish after a boss commits to a long attack or a ground slam. The airborne phase clears shockwaves and low sweeps, but the head and arms can still be hit from the front. On twinblades the eight hits suffer more from enemy defense, so the thrust version on a spear, greatsword or heavy thrusting sword hits harder per use.

"This skill originates from the lifeforms of the Crucible. Grow a golden pair of wings and take to the air before diving down at the foe, weapon first. A spinning attack is performed when wielding a twinblade."

Good With

Weapons Twinblade, Twinned Knight Swords, Lance, Great Epee, Claymore
Affinity Heavy or Keen keeps the physical thrust strong for Strength or Dexterity, while Sacred adds holy damage for Faith builds.
Talismans Shard of Alexander, Spear Talisman
Stats Strength or Dexterity
