The Ash of War: Sacred Ring of Light is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Sacred affinity and the Sacred Ring of Light skill. It is a mid-game find.
Sacred Ring of Light is the skill of the Cleanrot Knight commanders: the wielder sweeps the polearm upward to gather a ring of light, then flings it forward as a holy discus. Repeated presses fire ring after ring in rapid succession, and the aim can be changed between each throw. The rings deal holy damage that scales with Faith and weapon level, giving polearms a quick ranged option. It suits Faith builds running spears, halberds or reapers.
Stats
It grants the Sacred affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Keen, Heavy, Quality or Lightning. The skill costs 9 FP. It fits Spear, Halberd and Reaper.
How to Get Ash of War: Sacred Ring of Light Guide
- Dropped by a Teardrop Scarab on land east of the Heart of Aeonia in the Swamp of Aeonia in Caelid, where Commander O'Neil is fought.
- Once obtained, it can be duplicated by trading Lost Ashes of War to Smithing Master Hewg at the Roundtable Hold.

Skill
Firing several rings in a row is the main strength, so it works well against enemies that stay at mid range or are slow to close the gap. Each ring deals modest stance damage, so it pressures rather than staggers. Weapon buffs and greases also apply to the rings, which makes it pair well with a Black Flame Blade or status grease.
