Fia's Champions is a field boss in Elden Ring.

Fia's Champions are spirit warriors who rise to guard the Prince of Death's Throne in the Deeproot Depths. They appear in waves, ending with the spirits of Sorcerer Rogier and Lionel the Lionhearted. The fight is a key step in Fia's questline. Winning it also opens one of the two routes into Leyndell.

Lore

The champions are pale spirits of Tarnished warriors, each wearing the gear of the life it once led. Among them stand the ghost of Sorcerer Rogier with his rapier and the heavily armored Lionel the Lionhearted.

Fia, the Deathbed Companion, held many warriors in her embrace. From each she kept a small fragment of vigor. The champions are the shades of those fragments, gathered to guard the body of Godwyn the Golden.

Phases

Phase 1: a single nameless champion invades.
Phase 2: the spirit of Sorcerer Rogier fights with rapier and glintstone sorceries.
Phase 3: two more champions arrive together with Lionel the Lionhearted.

Attacks

Nameless champions fight in melee with the weapon their gear suggests, and they dodge most ranged spells.
Rogier casts Magic Downpour and Glintstone Pebble and uses Glintblade Phalanx with his rapier.
Lionel casts Rancorcall, which sends five homing skulls.
Lionel casts Fia's Mist, a cloud that builds up death blight. Leaving the mist quickly prevents the instant death.

Tactics

Bring Rejuvenating Boluses or Order Healing to clear death blight buildup.
Raise magic resistance, because Rogier's sorceries hit hard.
Save flasks and focus points during the first two waves.
Hit Rogier with heavy attacks to stagger him before he can cast.
Summon a spirit ash for the third wave and fight one champion at a time.
Leave Lionel for last and keep away from his mist while dealing with the others.
