The Bloodhound Claws are a Claw in Elden Ring. It has the highest physical attack of any claw in the game. They are a mid-game find in Volcano Manor.

The Bloodhound Claws are large curved claws used by Bloodhound Knights, and the curve lets them slip through an enemy's guard. They drop from the Bloodhound Knight in the basement of Volcano Manor. Light attacks ignore half of a block's damage negation and heavier attacks ignore more, every hit builds blood loss, and like all claws they carry a 110 critical rating. Their default skill, Bloodhound's Step, dashes farther than Quickstep while turning the user invisible and crosses lava without slowdown.

Stats

The Bloodhound Claws are the hardest-hitting claw at 99 physical, with 60 blood loss buildup and a 110 critical rating. Bloodhound's Step lets the wielder move through lava and other slowing terrain without penalty, handy in Gelmir Hero's Grave, and the light attacks ignore half of a shield's damage negation. They can be infused and buffed.

Enter Volcano Manor on Mt. Gelmir.
Find the hidden tunnels below the manor that lead toward the Prison Town Church Site of Grace.
Defeat the Bloodhound Knight in the tunnels to receive the claws.

Skill

Bloodhound's Step costs 5 FP. The wielder vanishes from sight and dashes at high speed, covering more ground than a roll or Quickstep. The dash grants invulnerability frames, a little fewer on repeated uses, and it can circle around a locked-on target. Its low FP cost makes it a popular dodge replacement on almost any weapon, though status buildup still lands during the dash. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

"Skill that allows the user to become temporarily invisible while dodging at high speed. Moves faster and travels farther than a regular quickstep. This skill can be used to circle around lock-on targets."
