The Moonlight Altar is a high plateau above south-western Liurnia, bathed in the light of the dark moon. It is reached only through Ranni's quest, by way of the Ainsel River and the Lake of Rot. The Cathedral of Manus Celes stands on it, guarded by Glintstone Dragon Adula. The Ringleader's Evergaol and Chelona's Rise lie at its edges. It is one of the last stops of Ranni's story.
Lore
The plateau holds the ruins of a people who deeply revered the moon. From here, the full moon and the dark moon can both be seen beside the Erdtree.
