Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader is an evergaol boss in Elden Ring.
Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader led the assassins who killed Godwyn the Golden. Her spirit is sealed in the Ringleader's Evergaol on the Moonlight Altar in Liurnia of the Lakes. She is fast and aggressive, and her death-imbued blade drains maximum health. The evergaol shuts out spirit ashes and co-op, and her reward is the spirit of her daughter, Black Knife Tiche.
Lore
Alecto wears the scale armor of the Black Knife Assassins, forged to make no sound. She fights with a black knife imbued with death.
Alecto was the ringleader of the Night of the Black Knives. On that night her assassins imbued their knives with the Rune of Death and slew Godwyn the Golden. The assassins were all women, rumored to be Numen with close ties to Queen Marika.
Alecto's daughter Tiche took part in the plot. Tiche was killed protecting her mother as they fled the royal capital.

Attacks
- Imbued Helmsplitter: she crouches, leaps and slams down with a blade of death. Its tracking is short, so sprinting away as she crouches avoids it.
- Knife Sweep: a wide, fast sweep that leaves a long recovery. Dodging and then punishing works well.
- Blade of Death: she fires waves of death energy. A roll through each wave avoids them, and the gap after is a chance to heal.
- Quick dashes and stabs: she closes distance easily. Steady dodging keeps her from landing combos.
- Health drain: her death-imbued hits lower maximum health for a short time.
Tactics
- Dodge instead of blocking, because her attacks are too fast and strong to guard.
- Keep enough distance to sprint away the moment she winds up Imbued Helmsplitter.
- Punish the recovery after Helmsplitter or Knife Sweep, or land a backstab after Helmsplitter.
- Use heavy attacks to break her low stance.
- Chain Ash of War: Giant Hunt to knock her down again each time she rises.
- Use frost, because she is immune to poison, rot and bleed.
