The Tree Surcoat is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It is picked up mid-game, in the Altus Plateau.
The Tree Surcoat is a blue surcoat draped over chainmail, and the tree insignia on its front depicts the Erdtree, a design beloved throughout the Lands Between. It shares its model with the Eye Surcoat and works as an alternative to the Chain Armor, and it appears in both dexterity samurai and intelligence strength builds. It is a medium-weight chest piece with solid physical defense and decent poise for its weight. It suits players who want a clean knightly look and can be bought from the Nomadic Merchant in western Altus Plateau.
