The Wolf Crest Shield is a Medium Shield in Elden Ring. It comes from Shadow of the Erdtree and is found in the Realm of Shadow.

The Wolf Crest Shield is a finely made Carian blueshield engraved with a wolf under the moon, the beast of the Carian royal covenant, and it was presumably carried by the Carian Knights who followed Rellana into the Realm of Shadow. It lies in Castle Ensis, down a stairway reached through a gap in the northwest corner of the courtyard where Moonrithyll, Carian Knight is fought. Its magic damage negation is better than average, and it reaches a guard boost of 66 when fully upgraded while needing only 12 Strength. It accepts Ashes of War and suits Dexterity or Intelligence characters that want strong block counters without investing in Strength.

If a block empties the stamina bar, the guard breaks and a critical hit can follow.

Held in the off hand of a Dexterity or Intelligence build to block and land block counters, with a parry skill added for melee attacks and spells.
