Ancient Vault - Hunter is an Ancient Vault in the east of the Springlands. Athalan Skree, the Hunter, sleeps here in a Cinder Vessel. She is a huntress, tanner and weaver who is skilled with ranged weapons. The Flame marks the vault in the quest Hunter Becomes The Hunted. Switch doors, a grapple point and a hidden door guard its chests, including a gold one.
Where to Find Ancient Vault - Hunter - Map Location
The vault lies east of the Ancient Spire - Springlands. The Southern Caravan Camp and a Night Sanctum are a short way to the south-west. The Shroud Root Ring of Rot lies to the south-east, at the edge of the Low Meadows.

Quests
The Flame gives Hunter Becomes The Hunted once The Ancient Spires is done. Waking the Hunter at her Cinder Vessel completes the first step. She then has to be placed in the base with a Summoning Staff. Later she remembers another vault and sends players on to the Farmer.

Chests
The gold chest sits on the ground floor behind a door with three switches. A grapple point in the Hunter's chamber leads to a room on top of the temple, where a silver chest waits. For the second silver chest, drop off the stone walkway onto the grass. A hidden door next to a climbing trellis opens onto a hallway with the chest. A wooden chest stands up a ladder outside the temple.

If you drop off the stone walkway of the outer vault and onto the grass you will see a hidden door adjacent some climbing trellis. Open the door to reveal a hallway leading to a silver chest. |

Hidden Chests
The vault's gold chest stands behind a barred gate on the ground floor. The gate opens only when three switches are pressed, and the last switch needs the Grappling Hook.

- Cross the corridor with the lightning traps and climb the first stairs.
- Find the glowing switch high on the pillar to the right of the stairs.
- Shoot the switch with a bow or a staff.
- Go through the metal door that this switch opens.
- Press the second switch on the right-hand wall of that room.
- Stand on the brazier on the right side of the stairs, facing the main entrance.
- Take a running jump towards the entrance and open the Glider for a moment.
- Grapple the anchor point on the ceiling.
- Swing to one of the climbable lattices beside the ledge above the main entrance.
- Climb up and press the third switch on the ledge.
- Go back to the gate once all three runes are lit.
- Open the gold chest in the room behind the gate.
Silver chest on top of the temple
- Cross the lava at the top of the stairs to reach the Hunter's chamber.
- Use the grapple point in the chamber to reach the room on top of the temple.
- Open the silver chest inside that room.
Silver chest behind the hidden door
- Drop off the stone walkway of the outer vault onto the grass.
- Find the hidden door beside the climbing trellis.
- Open the door and follow the hallway to the silver chest.
