Levelling and Upgrades

Every piece starts at item level 15. Each upgrade at the Hunter costs Runes and adds one item level, more armour and one enhancement, such as extra stamina or a level of the Runner skill. A crafted piece is rare and takes three upgrades, up to level 18. A legendary copy from loot takes five, up to level 20, and its last steps also cost Legendary Runes. The same role continues with the Deerstalker Set at level 20.

Lore

The Hunter descriptions describe a skilled archer who stalks prey. The hood is a formidable archer's hood for staying unseen and striking from the shadows. The vest is finely made, and it makes taking down prey and even other predators far easier. The leather gloves are adorned with metal to protect the knuckles. Nothing is said to suit a long prowl better than the trousers.
