The Deerstalker Set is a ranger armour set for bow users and suits any ranged build. It raises ranged critical hits, ranged damage and stamina. The Hunter crafts it, and bosses and chests in the Kindlewastes drop copies.

Pieces

The hood raises the chance and damage of ranged critical hits. The gloves add ranged damage and damage against ranged enemies. The chest, trousers and boots add health, stamina and sprint speed. The Deadeye Set is the specialist pick for headshot builds.

How to Get Deerstalker Set Guide

The Hunter crafts every piece. The recipes unlock when the Flame reaches level 5 at a Flame Altar. The main materials are Fabric, Iron Bars, Scales and Leather, plus Lapislazuli for the hood.

Levelling and Upgrades

Every piece starts at item level 20. Each upgrade at the Hunter costs Runes and adds one item level, more armour and one enhancement, such as extra stamina or a level of the Marksman skill. A crafted piece is rare and takes three upgrades, up to level 23. A legendary copy from loot takes five, up to level 25, and its last steps also cost Legendary Runes. The same role continues with the Alpine Antler Set at level 30.

Lore

The Deerstalker pieces are made for a quiet hunter. Cloth straps on the hood drift in the breeze and show the wind's direction and speed. The chest piece softens and mutes every movement. The gloves make drawing and loosing an arrow feel smooth and effortless. The warm, padded trousers keep in body heat on cold, starless nights. The boots make barely a sound while stalking prey.
