Mother Flame's Domicile is the seat of the Mother Flame at the top of The Ancient Citadel. It is the highest point of Cinder's Cradle. The final boss fight against Vorgoth takes place here. It closes the main story quest Cinders Of The End.
What Is Inside
The boss Vorgoth fights in two forms here. The first is the boss Vorgoth, Champion of the Shroud, still in human shape. The second is the boss Vorgoth, the Wanderer's Vessel, a monstrous form taken over by the Mysterious Wanderer. The Wanderer himself appears in the hall before the fight. Shroud growths fill the arena: cysts, eyes, flowers and tentacles. The second form drops Vorgoth's Eye, Vorgoth's Bound Essence and the Shroud Vessel's Greatsword. After the boss falls, the Mother Flame still needs saving from the Shroud. The Cinder's Cradle Miniature Piece also lies here.

Lore
The Mother Flame gives every Ancient a spark, its soul. When an Ancient returns to her with what it has learned, she takes the spark back. Vorgoth came to douse her for good. The Wanderer told him that only then would everything become whole. Beating him frees the Mother Flame, but the Shroud still gnaws at her light. The Flameborn gives their own inner fire to keep her burning.
Notes
- Beating Vorgoth unlocks the achievement A New North Star.
- Cinders Of The End rewards Vorgoth's Soulbound Crown and Vorgoth's Soulbound Gloves.
- Vorgoth's Eye is needed for Flame level 11.
