Shroud Vessel's Greatsword is the reward for beating Vorgoth, the final boss of Cinder's Cradle. It is a Legendary greatsword that deals cutting damage laced with Shroud damage. His second form, Vorgoth, the Wanderer's Vessel, always drops it at the end of the story.

Damage By Level

Base damage grows with item level and with rarity. Two-handed weapons deal one and a half times as much as one-handed ones. The table shows the base damage before perks and gems. Each perk adds its own bonus on top.

Perks

Each upgrade at the Blacksmith unlocks the next perk in this order. Rarity sets how many upgrades a copy takes: one for common, up to five for legendary.

Lore

The blade is tainted, and faded memories still echo inside it. The man those memories once haunted is gone. Vorgoth, Guard of the North, took the Elixir from a pale wanderer and broke the Ancient Gate. The Wanderer told him to douse the Mother Flame so that he could become whole. In the last fight his body becomes the Wanderer's vessel. His defeat frees Embervale, and it frees Vorgoth boss too.

Notes

The dropped copy deals cutting and Shroud damage.
The crafted copy is a fixed Legendary at item level 46 and deals cutting damage only.
It is the only crafted weapon from Cinder's Cradle that comes out Legendary.
Each Bound Essence spent on it is one less for the Soulbound armour and Flame level 11.

How to Get Shroud Vessel's Greatsword Guide

The boss Vorgoth, the Wanderer's Vessel always drops one when he falls. The fight takes place at Mother Flame's Domicile, on top of the Ancient Citadel. The fight is part of the final story quest Cinders Of The End, given by the Ancient Researcher. The Ancient Researcher can also craft a second copy in a sheltered spot. That recipe needs two Vorgoth's Bound Essence, plus Celestium Bars, Steel Bars and Diamond.
