Vorgoth's Soulbound Chest

Vorgoth's Soulbound Chest

Squint and you might see a heart etched into the plate. More heart than Vorgoth himself has shown in years. His real one drowned in Elixir.

Vorgoth's Soulbound Chest is Legendary armour made from what is left of Vorgoth, the final boss of Cinder's Cradle. It is the Ranger chest piece of the set and boosts bow damage. It adds health and stamina and raises the Ranger, Marksman, Puncture and Veiled Vigor skills.

Lore

A faint heart is etched into the plate. Vorgoth had shown little heart for years, and his own was lost to the Elixir. A pale wanderer once brought Vorgoth boss a blue flask and called it a secret weapon of the Ancients. Vorgoth then spiked his own family's wine to win Gormander over to the Elixir Wells.

Notes

Every Soulbound piece is Legendary and raises its skills by two levels, where the Rare Cradle sets raise them by one.
The set mixes classes: the boots suit a greatsword Warrior, the chest and gloves a Ranger, the crown and pants a Mage.
Keep one Bound Essence spare for Flame level 11 at the Flame Altar.

How to Get Vorgoth's Soulbound Chest Guide

The Ancient Researcher crafts it in a sheltered spot. The recipe needs one Vorgoth's Bound Essence, Iron Dust, Celestium Bars, an Archaic Infusion and a Bursting Fell Heart. The recipe unlocks once a Bound Essence is picked up, with Loraine Crim rescued. The boss Vorgoth, the Wanderer's Vessel drops two to three Vorgoth's Bound Essence at Mother Flame's Domicile, on top of the Ancient Citadel.
