The Sunpiercer Set is a Veilwater Basin warrior armor set for two-handed weapons. Its strength is the highest two-handed damage bonus before Cinder's Cradle, backed by a huge health pool. The Blacksmith crafts it, and pieces also turn up in chests. Every piece also shortens how long the wet status lasts.

Pieces

The helmet raises the chance and the damage of melee critical hits. The gloves add a large two-handed damage bonus and extra damage against melee enemies. The chestplate brings a big block of health and some stamina, and the pants add health and regeneration. The shoes speed up health regeneration and start it sooner.

How to Get Sunpiercer Set Guide

The Blacksmith makes every piece. Armor recipes unlock on their own each time the Flame is upgraded, one crafting tier at a time. The recipes use Capybara Bristles, Green Vitriol Dust, Gold Bars, Gold Dust and Steel Bars, with a Bursting Fell Heart for the chestplate.

Levelling and Upgrades

The Blacksmith upgrades warrior armor for Runes. Crafted pieces are rare quality, while chests can hold common to legendary ones. The quality sets how many upgrade perks a piece can unlock. Legendary pieces unlock the most and need Legendary Runes for the later steps. The perks here add resistance to blunt, piercing, cutting and Shroud damage, more health, and extra levels in skills such as Barbarian's Path, Brute and Blood Rage. In Cinder's Cradle, the Emberguard armor from the same crafter carries the two-handed role one tier higher. Outgrown pieces salvage back into runes.

The helmet shows golden grandeur and a gaze as unyielding as stone. Gold and bright green crystals cover the chestplate, which the description calls a shield and a statement of strength.

Notes

The Sunpiercer Gloves complete this set as its arm piece and are crafted by the Blacksmith.
The Sunpiercer Set shortens the Wet effect, which helps in the watery Veilwater Basin.
