The Ashwood Stakewall is six lengths of sharpened Ashwood driven into the ground, and it is the Defences piece for everything that charges a base in the Ashlands. Put a line of them across the approach and they hit whatever runs onto them and knock it back, which gives the archers behind the wall time for another volley.
How to Build It
Each section costs 6x Ashwood and needs a Workbench in range. Ashwood is worth the walk for a perimeter because rain does not rot it the way it rots plain timber. Taking a Stakewall down with the Hammer gives nothing back, though, so place the line where you want it the first time.
