Sharp stakes bite, but the Dvergr Stakewall holds. It is a two by three panel of iron-bound Yggdrasil timber from the Defences tab with 2,000 durability. This is the fence you run around a base that has to survive a raid, not just slow one down.
How to Build It
Each panel costs eight Yggdrasil wood and eight iron, and you build it within range of a black forge, which puts it firmly in the late game. The panels stand tall enough that most ground creatures cannot climb over them. Run the line along raised earth instead of flat ground, and an attacker has extra height to deal with before it reaches the timber.
