Boar Meat comes from the Boars rooting around the Meadows. It is the first meat most Vikings carry, and it does nothing until it has been near a fire.
How to Get It
You can kill boars with whatever you have on your first day, a Stone Axe or a handful of flint arrows, and they are everywhere in the Meadows. The better long-term plan is to fence a few in and tame them by dropping Carrots, Turnips, Blueberries, Raspberries or Mushrooms in the pen, then breed them for meat that never runs out. Eating it raw is not worth it, so everything you gather goes straight to a Cooking Station or a Cauldron.
