The Forge Bellows is the first upgrade most smiths add. It is a Crafting Stations extension made from Wood, Deer Hide and Chain that pushes a Forge up a level and opens the recipes above it. It crafts nothing on its own; it only lets the forge next to it do more.
How to Build It
It costs 5 wood, 5 deer hide and 4 chain, with a Workbench in range to place it. The chain is the hold-up: it drops from Wraiths in the Swamp, so the bellows waits on iron-age travel rather than arriving with the forge. It also differs from the other forge upgrades in one awkward way. It only goes down attached to the forge itself, so leave one side of the forge clear when you lay out the smithy.
