The Sacrificial Stones are seven large stones set around a small round stone foundation, where the Valkyries ferry slain Vikings into Valheim. Each stone takes the trophy of one boss, and hanging a trophy activates that boss's Forsaken power.

Where to Find It

The Sacrificial Stones stand at the centre of the world map in the Meadows, one per world, with their own map icon. They are the first location placed when a world is generated, on a zone that is fully Meadows and at an altitude of at least 3 m. A small glowing vegvisir to the left of Eikthyr's stone marks his closest altar on your map.

What's Inside

The seven stones differ in shape, and each carries a verse and a drawing of its boss. The smallest is for Eikthyr of the Meadows, and a very tall, thin one is for The Elder of the Black Forest. A medium, very round one is for Bonemass of the Swamp, and a short, wide one for Moder of the Mountain. A tall, crooked one is for Yagluth of the Plains, a tall, wide one for The Queen of the Mistlands, and a tall, jagged one for Fader of the Ashlands. Two Raspberries and two Mushrooms grow around the site, and two to four branches and three to eight stones lie on the ground.

Loot

Container Item Image Amount Chance
Ground Raspberries Raspberries 2 100%
Ground Mushroom Mushroom 2 100%
Ground Branch - 2-4 2 always, 74.4% and 75.8% for the extras
Ground Stone Stone 3-8 3 always, 48.8% to 73.9% for each extra

Notes

  • A mystical force blocks building and terrain changes within 13 m of the centre. If you try, you get the message "A mystical force in this area stops you."
  • You hang a trophy on its stone once the boss is dead, and the Forsaken power it activates can be used as often as you like, with a cooldown between uses.
