Forged from Mountain Silver and the pelts and fangs of the wolves that hunt there, the Wolf Hide Trousers are what a Viking wears once the snow stops being a threat and becomes a hunting ground. They give 20 armour, or 26 fully upgraded, and rank 5th among leg pieces. Worn with the rest of the Wolf Armor set, they are part of a 61 armour rating, which turns a 100-damage hit into 41.
How to Craft
You craft them at a level 2 Forge from:
- 20x Silver: smelted from Silver Ore in a Smelter.
- 5x Wolf Pelt: dropped by Wolves in the Mountain.
- 4x Wolf Fang: dropped by Wolves, Fenrings and Ulvs in the Mountain.

When to Use It
This is mid game gear. Silver lies under the Mountain snow and you need a Wishbone to find it, so this comes after Bonemass.
Upgrades
You can upgrade them 3 times after crafting, and each level needs the station built one step higher than the last. Figures quoted elsewhere are for quality 1, so this is the ladder your own pair sits somewhere on:

Properties
- -5% Movement speed
- Movement -5%: that is what wearing them costs you in speed, and in what a dodge roll costs.
Notes
- The movement speed penalties of chest and leg armor add up, so a full heavy set is 10% slower.
- Armor reduces physical, fire, frost and lightning damage, but it does nothing against poison or spirit damage.
- Every craftable armor piece gains 2 armor with each upgrade.
