The Quadra Type-66 "Reaver" is the Wraiths' rebuild of the Type-66, and it is the most powerful car the gang runs. All four wheels drive, the engine makes four figures, and the windscreen is a Militech CrystalDome panel rather than glass. It was built to cross the Badlands at speed with raiders inside it. Drivers who meet one on the open road usually meet it at full throttle. The Reaver drives with Wraith raiding parties in the Badlands.
Performance
All four wheels drive, so the Reaver puts an enormous amount of power down on sand and gravel without spinning. The engine is far stronger than anything in the road Type-66 range, which makes it quick across open ground as well as on tarmac.
The CrystalDome windscreen hides the crew while the driver sees out. The body is no heavier than the road car, so it stays agile despite the power.
How to Get Quadra Type-66 "Reaver" Guide
- Find a Wraith party in the Badlands and take the car once the crew is down.
Lore
The Wraiths take other people's vehicles and rebuild them into something that suits the desert. The Reaver is that work at its most extreme, a road coupe turned into a raider.
The look owes an open debt to the wasteland cars of Mad Max: Fury Road, which is where the whole nomad school of entropism in the Badlands points.
